Whats with the Gamespot feminism movement? It seems like to (as you put it) "smash the curve" we'd need several games to focus on a black female character with no violence at all.
You can argue Joel is the one main character, but I would also argue Joel is flawed where Ellie is pure. Joel is weak where Tess was strong. I don't believe you understand the meaning of feminism; if you are arguing that women being portrayed as equal is unacceptable. To argue women must be portrayed as superior is no different than arguing a man should be either.
Lastly, if you don't like the way games are written, maybe you should stop complaining and start your own game.
Tom might be the most unlikable reviewer I can think of. He always plays the devil's advocate even if he needs to stretch his imagination to justify his comments.
It will be released on PS3 and PS4 alongside the XBOX360 and XBOXONE. Right now, it looks like the current-gen and PC versions will come out first while the next-gen ones will be released later on.
