Yo peeps,

I've been good, by the way the wikispace didn't really work out so I'm getting a free site from Microsoft for my dev studio, which I have named "Epsilon Games" (the name is a WIP).

But that isn't the news for this blog. This blog is for saying that my first game will be a 2D Fighting game and I need all the help I can get when it comes to everything but the programming. I need people who can draw, who can make sprites, who can rip sounds and music.

Alright guys so I decided on a new project and that will be to make a game using the Unity Engine. It'll probably be a 2D sidescroller to start it off.

Also I've moved the Union "The Video Games Genesis" to a Wikispace page (http://videogamegenesis.wikispaces.com/)

Which also explains why I say that this may be my last blog post. I feel that GS is too constricting and that all the good members have left (which most have). So I will work on the Wikispace instead of coming here, (which BTW requires a Wikispace account) and help is always appreciated.

I may come back every once and a while, but don't expect many posts.

So I'm currently typing this on my new desktop and the specs are:

CPU: i7 -950 Quad-Core 3.08Ghz

GPU: MSI Cyclone 1GB DDR5

RAM: 4GB G-Skill RipJaw Ed

HDD: 1TB

MB: Asus Rampage III

Monitor: Asus 24" Full HD monitor

If you don't understand that, basically I can run TF2 on max with 30+ bots at the same time without a hit in FPS.

Oh and I had an idea about the union, since it doesn't seem to be working and I personally find that unions on GS are a joke.

My idea is that I can create a free wikispace for the union and we can work out of that. By doing that we can reach a wider audience and it's less frustrating to tell people to join that than join GS and then join the union. What do you guys think?

Good Day everyone...

So my computer has been going into and out of death for the past few weeks.

Currently it is living, but in a different life. I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 because Windows 7 refuses to install thanks to HP being awful.

I'm also building a desktop which will be ~$1500 and will be able to run anything and everything for the next 5 - 10 years

So how is everyone else doing?

I see the union is becoming like the last one, as in it's dying.

I have a plan we could recommend people to join it and advertise it.

Anyone have any other plans on how to get this thing off it's feet because I'd love to see this thing actually take off.

P.S. If people are wondering why I haven't been on MSN for a while it's because MS closed my account because people were using it to spam stuff. So I may be making a new one to fix that or if anyone's on AIM/gmail I can add them on that.

Alright my computer's back from the dead running Win 7 and Ubuntu.

Now about the union...

Alright so my laptop's HDD is slowly dying, which means that I won't be on GS until I get it fixed, so until then, have fun.

Oh and can we get the union some new members any time soon, we've still got below 10

So with the recent news of Mass Effect 2 coming to the PS3, I've become rather upset with gamers in general.

It seems that fanboys are more now than they have ever been and they're even more annoying.

Lets compare the ME2 news to the FFXIII news.

When FFXIII was announced to come to the 360, what did the fans do?

P - "How could SquareEnix do this to us? I feel so betrayed with them. They're nothing but money grubbers."

X - "HAHA EAT IT SONY FANBOYS, YOUR BEST FRANCHISE COMES TO 360. SUCK IT!"

Now with this news...

X - "How could Bioware do this? Just betray and slap the 360 across the face. Stupid money loving company."

P - "Finally we get to play one of the 360's greatest games. LOL M$ is going to fail now."

Yup double standards all around...and it's because of people like this who make me ashamed to be a gamer. Why can't we all get along and just be friends.For it is the conflict like this that pits brother against brother and friend against friend.We as gamers must strive for a futurewhere we do not pick sides and enjoy every game for all that it is worth, be it PS3, 360, or PC.

I'll finish this with a quote from an inspirational man and my hero, Kevin Butler.

Well this could have come out better, but I can't really complain. Like I said I need to clean up the mp3 player and add some more songs from soundtracks and cds that I got and remove some that for some reason I put on there.

Well my PS3 got the Yellow Light of Death yesterday thanks to the solder ports between the motherboard and the Cell Processor overheating and breaking. My father and I intend to open it up and fix what went wrong, but from what I hear it's only temporary, so if it happens again I have two options

Send it to Sony for $150 to get it fixed or buy a new PS3 slim/ used PS3 at Gamestop.
