Great, another ESO piece of garbage because Bethesda can't commit to making AAA games anymore that compete in the current market.
Other developers are pushing forward with new ways of dramatic storytelling, immersive world building, cutting edge graphics, and captivating characters.
What does Bethesda do with it's enormous amount of resources - base building on the same beaten to death engine that's already past it's expiration date.
So...the shooting mechanics and graphics Fallout 4 should have had, but without any other redeeming quality. Good job Bethesda, always late to the party carrying in last year's model.
Everyone defending this has the mental capacity of an infant. Oh, someone else used an offensive slur so that makes it justified for everyone to use it too?
Because we should all honestly be speaking about this without any context to what the word means, has meant, and stands for, but in the sense that you're all children that feel like you're not getting a turn to play with the really cool toy.
You don't understand how one group of people using it is different than another? Well, you can't understand because that would require you to be able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and view the world from a different standpoint other than your entitled obnoxious selves.
I've never had to ask myself, why can't I call Jews, Asians, and Hispanics by their racial slurs. Somehow I was just born with enough common sense to realize, I am an outsider to their culture and it will be justified for them to view it at face value as offense.
And with that I've never felt compelled to or cared to press the issue. Strangely enough there's never been a single reason to say any of those words in my entire life. Crazy, huh?
This year in gaming has just been one disappointment after another. Only thing I really enjoyed was Prey, and it looks like Sony has nothing interesting planned.
@Daelusca: The Witcher still managed to have better writing than anything Bethesda has done since 2002. Not to mention it's hard to take you seriously about combat when Skyrim still had the same antique system as Oblivion, but with dual wielding. If there's anything Bethesda is still incapable of, it's crafting interesting characters that actually have personality. I've supported the company for years, but they simply don't make any improvements on the quality of their writing, which is why people elevate games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age way about TES.
This industry is always so desperate to throw accolades at the few well known big names. The fact that this hack is still relevant is proof enough that gamers in general just need someone to praise for the sake of it. Terrible writing, half ass themes, poor adaption of ideals from books and movies, and what do the sheep do? Kiss ass and lick boots.
