Why is Gamespot even covering this analyst? With the way this man talks, they could have just as efficiently quoted some fired-up poster here or on some forum.
I enjoy downloads and instant content, but there's something that sucks about not having games or DLC to leave my brothers when I move out. Especially stuff they pitched in a few bucks for.
@LordelX Hardly. They can't afford to price it alongside current hardware and they have no need to. If it is launched around 250 then they'll turn a sizable profit from early adopters, then future price cuts will give them an early lead in the next generation. Keep in mind, Nintendo is still carrying a slight lead in console sales this generation as well.
My Kinect tends to gather dust but I grabbed the demo for this a couple weeks ago. Saw it for free and had to grab it. It really is a decent title full of mindless-fun. Best use of walking mechanics thus far. (not perfect, but best I've seen)
With the exception being SE's mmo's, the Final Fantasy games see some of the biggest production value on the market. Overdose on chill pills you whining loons.
May as well. After BO Paradise, they became the same game anyway. I never understood why the same publisher (EA) needed two so similar franchises. Burnout 2 will forever remain a favorite.
A somewhat disconcerting article. That being said, there's pretty much nothing to refute; well written. If that's our future, I hope gamers start cranking out some good homebrews.
I'm sold on the Wii-U even if it fails. Not because of brand loyalty (haven't owned Nintendo since the 64) but I need some colorful games. All this post-apocalyptic violent drab is starting to get to me.
