It's actually selling a lot better than Xbox 1 did in the same time frame...

I was talking about Japan actually. But perhaps I was wrong...I doubt I was though. It'd simply be realistic if X360 did better there than the Xbox. It currently has a ton more games aimed towards Japan than Xbox 1 had during the same time frame. A better price. A bundle with Blue Dragon, a game that received great scores from the renown Japanese mag Famitsu.

If I'm wrong, then it simply doesn't make sense :(

lol, that made me laugh...

First the PS2 didnt sell like hotcakes its first year out....they sold like 10 to 12million i believe. Secondly, you lemmings never acknowledged the $500 PS3 before it was discontinued...lemmings always used the $600price as their so called ownage.  Third: why would anyone get the lower end PS3, take not from the 360core, which is utter useless garbage. 

And given the PS3 is $200 dollars more than its rival and not $100 this time, expect it to start leaving the 360 behind after 2years (November 2008, quote me on this)...

I only say 360 because Wii will no doubt be the competition...in sales.

I have a launch 360.

Make sure you ventilate the Console and the brick. and mines still works perfect.

But I shouldn't have to suspend my fuking console with LEGOS MS... :P

Plus Oblivion is a weird game its tends to freeze a lot(i've had it freeze maybe 5 times since ive had it. But none of my other games have ever frozen.

the only other game i have had problems with is Dead Rising (gets disc read errors a lot)

 

EDIT: BTW my console is horizontal. And by wierd noise do you mean like it makes a disc scratching noise and then the disc drive seems to power down, and be very quiet?

Yeah Oblivion was the reason I took my first Xbox 360 back, freezing at least once a play through was not acceptable for me, it has since improved with the new hardware, but the scratches hosed me once (Thieves Guild quest where the head guard walks in to find some evidence I planted, goes into some unskipable dialog... unable to read the audio is would give me a DRE).

I just want to know why it seems to powerdown and make less noise. :P   i hope its not bad.

I think its like a computer disk drive...Know how when you first insert the disk it spins real fast to upload it and then powersdown once its uploaded.  Thats what it reminds me of.
