Depression confuses me. The fact I'm constantly told I don't understand it is probably why. Even though I am in far more reasons to be depressed then a girl who found University too hard, I didn't even get to uni. But then I drink a lot and doctors tell me that's my cope mechanism to depression. I don't know, I keep being told I don't understand it so how do I know what it is. I always thought I picked up my drinking through habit alone.

Point and click adventure games are not as dead as I would want them to be to be honest. I enjoyed them during a very small faction of my life then I moved on. It seems when ever someone mentions Lucas Arts they mention Monkey Island. It's like going back to your old parents house, the one you moved out of when you were 8 years old, finding that the people who currently live there are pensioners in their 80's, the whole place smells of boiled cabbage and they got them flowery beige curtains up on every window, I don't know where I'm going with this....

Tabula Rasa is the last Garriot thing that springs to mind, I enjoyed my time on that game it had great concept just lacking in the end game content. Was surprised it just died instead of trying to add some. It was a game that filled a space which is now an empty void, defiance looks to fill the void mind.

I made the mistake of posting the comment before I finished the whole interview and as I watched I figured that was the direction it was going.

Disclaimer upfront - I am looking forward to Bioshock Infinite, however I had pause the interview just over a minute in when Kevin mentioned how they make AAA games which are challenging .. You could not fail in Bioshock, it was a game were death didn't matter, you die and you reepawn a few meters away and whatever killed you has it's health still at whatever you managed to grind it down to when you last met. That's if you ever die in it, most FPS veterens would plough the game only stopping to take in the scenery. Now I not played Bioshock Infinite yet, but hopefully what Kevin said has something to do with it being more challanging then before.

I'm going to be playing Diablo 3 a lot. That's all I'm going to say.
