He's going to review Watchdogs when it comes out, and give it a 7.5 because the characters trench coat clipped through a fence for a second and removed the immersion.
I know you play as a guy with a beard and there is a little girl and it's in the apocalypse, it's 3rd perspective and doors open which stop monsters chasing you sometimes. Also combat is brutal.
I suppose i heard enough to know it's a game I won't pass up on but when I was just getting warmed up into the review and it suddenly talked about multiplayer (normally Gamespot talks multiplayer at end of reviews) I was like "WTF?"
I quite like what I seen on the review it's the type of game I play, enjoy, finish. Used to get stuff like this all the time on PS2 with things like Ghost in the Shell and Primal, those 3rd person action adventure games. I'm out of touch didn't realise liner games were a bad thing these days, although looking at the video review it does look like an original well put together cyberpunk world that you wouldn't mind doing a bit of Deus Ex about in.
I like creating my protagonist on a character creation system, or having a selection on the game start, but I hate having the protagonist switch, it takes me away form the game and I no longer have a person to identify myself as in the game world.
I read some article on BBC webpage about all this gathering of our information, for free, by people with big computers will cause much bigger problems in the long-run then the obvious privacy issues.
Dragons Dogma full ending stayed with me, it's one of those endings which you can't decide if to be happy or sad with. Impossible to go into detail without major spoilers so I won't, but it made me aware how attached I became to my voiceless character by the end of it.
It shows you can have a haunting ending that still has plenty of closure
Is this about the development of games or playing a game and voice chats. Because you don't have to be a girl to be harassed in voice chat I am sure anyone who's played an Online game will back me up on that statement :)
