I went out to buy a game today with my family.  I had two games to choose from:  Cooking Mama or Godfather.  My made the mistake of asking my wife which one she would want.  She quickly picked out Cooking Mama and said she would love to play that.  I told her that I'm not going to buy that game unless she was going to play it.  She begged so I ended up getting cooking mama.  Took it home and she cooked one dish and then gave up on it saying "Not my type of game".  Now I'm stuck with stupid Cooking Mama when I could be bashing people's heads on Godfather...bah!Babyfuzzball

Yeah the whole Wii family unit vision of Nintendo's was always too overrated ha!. Maybe you can bring back the game and exchange it for the godfather?

You're right.  All the games I have, that I think are good, and enjoy playing, I only bought those because of slick marketing.  And when I try a game, and I don't like it, it's not because it was a bad game, it's because the marketing team did a lousy job convincing me it was good.  Come on, if all it took to make people buy games was marketing, then we wouldn't be interested in web sites where they rate video games on their content.

Nintendo can release 3 games per year and itll still sell well.

Consumers are stupid. They will buy anything if its cheap. If consoles were judged by online, quality, and number of games, we would all own a PS2 and 360. That isn't our world, which is why the WIi will sell no matter what Nintendo does.

This isn't trolling. Im saying that Wii will sell the most despite its games portfolio. You owners should be very proud.

I disagree. Online gaming is not making a console being hardcore. Last time, I remember the PS1 and the PS2 had no and mediocre online gaming. Guess what they won.

The PS1 was two generations ago and PS2 was last generation. It's a different time now and online play is pretty much turning into the standard. As far as games go, overall the Wii could be doing better. When I say I want a mature game for the Wii I don't mean something full of blood and guts. I mean I want something with some substance and depth. The Wii is sorely lacking in this area and judging by the upcoming release lists it doesn't appear that this will change anytime soon.

 Eh.....sorry did i hear you correctly as you just used Warioware for an example of an in-depth game? My god you couldnt have been more wrong no offence. I finished that game in an hour and finished having fun with multiplayer with my friends in another hour and the game was then useless really!. The Wii should have had online gameplay from the start because they had plenty of time to do so and theres no excuse!. Most games out now suck and lack in-depth......i cant arque with Zelda but that game came out in November last year!. Seriously why do you defend Nintendo so much cus it's clear theres definite room for improvement and i dont mean in another 6 months time....i mean as soon as possible!!.
