and mass effect will probably be on of the only games to do this until Uncharted 2 comes around. Then after that, the next game to do it will be probably Final Fantasy 13

Uncharted imitating Gears of War? Are you delusional or something? They're not even in the same genre. Gears is a shooter and Uncharted is a Action-Adventure game. Uncharted was a lot more like Tomb Raider then it was Gears.2-10-08
BTW, for the record Uncharted's graphics were better then Gears and any unbiased or respected source was of that opinion. The only people that disagree are fanboys.
I doubt you've even played Gears. It plays exactly like uncharted The only part that plays like Gears is the gunplay/cover system and that's where it ends. Why is it that cows believe this, yet when shadow complex and Conviction were said to be equal length, it was scoffed at?? :Pnavyguy21why is that people on these boards like to generalize a group of people? why is it that people try bring up other games in a thread about a game that's a different genre?
You know what.... you're absoutely right. Story was terrible. I'm sorry[QUOTE="EwwFanboys"]

Having put over 100 hours into that gamewithout completing it my initial thought was to be angry over having it spoiled for me. Then I realized I had no idea who that person is and remembered that I stopped caring about the story because it sucks.

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or notbut it's just my opinion.

not certain its the main villain. in fact, i'd almost bet its not. the games usually build to allude to the real villain (even though it's usually pretty obvious from the beginning) in ff4 you didn't find out who the real villain was until almost the end of the game. in ff1 you didn't find out until the very end of the game. ff9's boss wasn't really even mentioned in the entire game, he just kinda shows up. ffx they tried to throw you off who the main villain was, same kinda in ff8. ff12 also did the same, it had so many villains it never really revealed the boss until almost the end.

Well in 12, Its like they try to make you wonder about who the last boss is. then it turns out to be -----... I was let down to say the least.

I really hope summons are useful in this one...
siLVURcross
FFX-2 kills them.
FFXII craps on them.
I hope FFXIII brings them back to their former glory.
X only made summons great because that was the only way to kill everything  no, 4 slotted armor with auto-haste, auto-protect, auto-phoenix, and auto-potion was the way to kill everythingkeep in mind that the pacing in uncharted 1 was nearly perfectI just hope it's as long as it needs to be because I hate games that are long just for sake of it. But as this has multiplayer the single player length matters a bit less.
