Ive been getting BSODs and artifacts on various games including WiC (artifacts) and NWN2(BSODs), as well as one in Dark Messiah OMAM, which up until this morning ran fine. The BSODs report that the "problem appears to be with the file nv_4disp"...Ive reinstalled my nvidia drivers previously already, but to no avail. The only consistent problem is with NWN2, which filckers on the white Atari screen, locks up on the menu and then throws a BSOD at me. This only happened with patch 1.05 and above though, and was fine when I tried 1.00.
Any solutions?/Suggestions?
Hey, after upgrading my PC with another Gig of RAM (2GB total), and an nVidia 7900GTX, things such as this have started to happen.

Asyou can see, the problem is pretty obvious. I dont blame my new monitor upgrade, as I had the same problems with my old one. Its only today I started getting this on WiC - previously I found it only on ETQW and the settlers demo.
All my drivers are up to date, im not OCing and my case is stone cold. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I just started up Neverwinter 2, and after a few screen flickers, I was presented with a blue screen of death which said "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" if this helps anywhat?
PS; sorry I couldnt post them straight in, it kept saying my html wasnt well formed
Im not OCing, and theres no less than 3 fans in that case - including a rather large 120mm fan.
It just concerns me how its only those two games reall, I'll try it with the Two worlds demo and supcom. See what happens.
My plan was to freshly install windows and wipe my drive, Im sure i havent created a partition, so I can only suspect that Ive created a new windows on top of the old one.
I just formatted my Hard Drive recently, its 120GB, I only have ETQW, WiC, and GRAW installed, but I have about 3 gig of free memory space, so I suspect the old installtion is still hiding because I picked the wrong option during formatting, is there any way to get rid of the old installation if it exists?
I figured on two years for my GTS, before I have to upgrade. It really depends on how much eye candy you like, whilst gaming. :)Sentinel672002
Ooohhh, not bad at all. I mean, I like good quality graphics - but it doesnt have to be totally maxed. But im not bothered about DX10 or HD/High res gaming, regular monitor 1024x768 does me fine. Would I need to upgrade my PSU beyond the 450W it already is though?
IfI upgrade my pc from a radeon X1600 to an Nvidia 8800GTS 320MB, and upgrade my RAM from 1GB DDR, to 2GB DDR2. Whilst still keeping my Core 2 Duo at 2x 3.4ghz, how long do you think it'll be before I have to upgrade again?
Also, what if I did the same, but using an 8800 GTX graphics card?
