Games are done when games are done, be it October, November, or January (though admittedly, most publishers aim for xmas). It might be little more than coincidence
I thought it was brilliant, its an easy outing if youre new to the series, and a good way to get into it. I found the story quite engaging, and on the whole, the game quite addictive. Its easy worth an 8.5/10, or perhps a 9
Im gonna play the SP to finish the fight, as it were (I don't buy games for their MP content...ever...unless they are MMOs, Online Only, or mainly MP focused with SP just being skirmishes). Im gonna save multiplayer for when I have mates round, cos from what ive seen of the Beta build, it looks pretty much the same as H2.
I believe Shadowrun and Halo 2 are the only Vista exclusives out at the minute (and only so because of that Games For Windows Live crap M$ are running). But I believe they have both already been hacked to work on XP.
They cant be stopped from playing at home anyway. And to those who keep shouting "old!" - have you ever thought that not everyone is a forums addict? Maybe people havent actually seen it yet?
They occur at any time, anywhere. Just a few mins ago I just got a grey screen at random for no reason, and sometimes it just drops out when i so much as move the mouse.
It did it to me whilst I was just on my desktop as well, so I suspect it aint just games. It seems totally random though, sometimes it runs for a whole day wih no probs.
I tried booting into safe mode, but it wont let me run games, so theres so way of testing them as the culprit. My monitor is actually a 6 year old Advent regular monitor, so it could be the monitor is now knackered? I that a feasible idea considering the problem?
