I think H3 is currently under hyped - as in, there isnt a lot of attention on it, but from what Ive seen, (as in Beta Build matches on XleagueTV), it can stay that way, I'll only be getting it to finish the story and probably won't take it any further than that. Sorry, but the devs need to start showing me a Next-Gen game.....not Halo 2.5

great? If some of the publishers got together and re-released compilations of old RPGs like Grandia and Wild Arms for the PSP? The thought just occured to me when I saw Japan had a PSP compilation of Suikoden 1/2 (now why dont WE get that in Europe? We didnt even get Suikoden 3).

An intelligent suggestion, but what about bugs? We havent even harnessed and mastered everything we have now to perfection, moving on to something like that would really be jumping the gun, and would probably cause more problems that it solves at the minute. Not saying it isnt a good or effective idea, its just skipping ahead a little for now, there are still problems that need fixing with what we already have.

Ok, my opinion here is this; I pretty much hate the Official Map editor, the elevation tool often bugs out and rips huge chunks out of my map, whatever its set to. And it isnt the easiest thing in the world to use.

But my question is; HazX's unofficial editor is simple enough and suits its purpose, but does anyone know how to squeeze performance out of it, cos most of the time I get like 6FPS out of it? Cos Id really like to carry on making these maps.

Current Rig:

X1600 Graphics Card AGP Slot
1gb DDR RAM
2x3.4ghz Core Duo
Regular Monitor
Windows XP

Desired Rig:

8800GTS 320MB PCI-e Slot
2GB DDR2 RAM (I have another mobo which supports both the DDR2 and the PCIe)
Same Processor
Same monitor
Possibly Vista - or may stick with XP

What I want to know is if Im taking a large enough step up. Monitors/resolution doesnt matter much to me, 1024x768 on a standard monitor seems gd to me, just how high I can pump up the settings without nuking my framerate.
Any suggestions? Advice?

Gears is supposed to have appeared at E3 for the PC apparently. So it may be from that.

I have friends that have sent back their broken consoles with broken warranty seals and still have had their machines replaced with refurbished machines. This was in the UK so it may be different where you are. Its a gamble but if the machine is already broken then you've got nothing to lose.Suharar

There may still be hope for me then. Go UK!
