Ive been running memtest on my RAM lately, when I run it with 2x 512 sticks in, after a few hours, I start getting errors at certain memory adresses (I dont know the specific time, as I cant watch it for 7 hours). So I took one stick out, let it run for three hours....no errors.....I thought that one might be ok. So I took that one out and placed the other stick in the same module I removed it from in the first place. This one ran for 10 hours, with no errors.
So....3 hours without errors on stick 1, 10 hours without errors on stick 2. Yet I get errors after 7 or less hours with both sticks. Could this mean that stick 1 is the faulty one?
Or is it possible that, even though the two RAM sticks are exactly the same, and have no errors on their own, combining them creates new errors? Confusing as that may seem.
Help would be appreciated here, thanks!
PS: Its DDR RAM, not DDR2 (Im thinking of upgrading soon anyway, cos theres a DDR2 motherboard round here somewhere)
I think that would be a horrible turn of events. Even more people would buy hardware just because it was "cool" and not because they want to play games. But I must admit that when I say this, it's more because I want the medium to be respected and not necessarily because it would be financially bad for console manufacturers... which it wouldn't be.Angry_Beaver
Yeah, respect for videogaming would go to pot!
This may seem wierd...but I just thought, You can already buy a Dolce&Gabbana Moto RAZR, and a Prada LG (i think its an LG anyway).....could you imagine buying a PS3 by Rocha John Rocha? Or a Wii by George from Asda? How about a DS by Nike?
Personally, I think itd be uncomfortably wierd, and theres no hint things will ever go in this direction, what do you think?
My Memtest results and determine if I do actually have crap RAM or not, because I feel it may be whats up with my PC as of late, Ive taken a few photos of the results screen; (images will open in a new window)

Ive been suffering crashes a lot lately, it all started with STALKER (which is not on my PC anymore), but shortly after that, SupCom suffered freezes at regular points in the campaign map, then LOTR constantly "needed to close, send/dont send etc." Now, im getting crashes on Zombie Master/CSS where it just locks up with jittery sound. I never suffered probs like this before, but my hard drive is very full as of late? Could that be it? Ive tried everything I usually try to fix games, drivers, firewalls/anti viruses disabled etc, lowering graphics settings, nothing seems to work. Here is my DxDiag, its getting beyond tolerable cos it seems I cant enjoy a game without it screwing up in one way or another, can anyone help?
