winDang... I almost had it too. :(
Pc gaming is a hassle i'd rather not have, waste so much time trying to get yesterdays title running when theirs something that will demolish it in a few days time.Immortal_Evil
So much time? It takes a few minutes to pop out a piece of hardware and put a new one in. Same with installing a game. :|
[QUOTE="beachbob1"]Or if you have a bit more cash and want something DX10 compatable and able to rip through everything for awhile, pick up the 8800 GT for about $200(correct me if I'm wrong on the price)
BEAN_LARD_MULCH
That would depend if its the 256mb verson or the 512 one.
The 512 one is 250
Yeah, I was thinking the 256MB, as his max resolution is only 1280x1024.

Seriously if you are going to play games that is a huge no-no.
What is your PC a word and web box?
Your CPU is fair, you have a nice sum of ram, but the 7300 LE... Ugh. No wonder.....
lol I usually don't play games on it. My 360 got the RROD and my 6 month old Alien Ware laptop went dark. MS and Alien Ware can stick it!! lol Any suggestion for a cheap card? probally only use it for month? Unless Age of Conan kicks but might uprade for that..
nvidia 7900GS, ATI x1950pro, can be had for $125, give or take $10. nvidia 7600gt is sub $100 in some places and will still run many games on high if you dont jack the resolution up.
Or if you have a bit more cash and want something DX10 compatable and able to rip through everything for awhile, pick up the 8800 GT for about $200(correct me if I'm wrong on the price)
[QUOTE="beachbob1"]Wrong. Heres how Nividia describes this card.
NVIDIA® GeForce® 7300 graphics processing units (GPUs) allow you to experience the latest gaming effects without compromising performance. Boasting the 3D graphics features of today's most advanced GPUs-including full support for Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 Shader Model 3.0 and true high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting-GeForce 7300 GPUs also bring stunning, high definition video and superb picture clarity with minimal CPU usage with NVIDIA® PureVideoTM technology. For the performance and features you need to play the latest games and enjoy home-theater quality video, make sure your PC is equipped with a GeForce 7300 GPU.
Your claim that its my card's fualthas no substance at all. Most these games are built to be played with a onboard card also by the way.
Danm_999
It's the advertisement from the manufacturer. Of course their going to spin it. Any expert can tell you that the 7300 isn't a strong gaming card though.
Am I the only one wondering if he thinks something like the 6800 is weaker than the 7300?
