If you have the space, you could just run a dual boot. It's pretty easy to set up, even easier than if you had to set one up with Vista already installed.

I personally haven't played AOC yet. Have you tried asking on the AOC forums? Chances are you will get better direction from them.

This could be anything really. AFAIK, AOC is pretty "chuggy" at the moment. Have you done a defrag recently? Do you have a bunch of processes taking up your CPU?
