Project? I wouldn't call it a project, it looks like you took 3 pictures off of Google that don't go together, used some unnecessary filters and used the history brush. Oh and a text effect.

It all looks very unrelated and messy, unnappealing to the eye - without the border I think you can see a huge improvement.
