okay well some people say that if u disable the information board it helps the XMB go a bit faster. You could try that otherwise i don't know.

update 2.01 is supoosed to fix 2.00's problems. I recommend you donwload that and see if the problems are fixed.

i think that all or most HDMI cables will work with the PS3. The game i would choose would be Ratchet and Clank.

both good games. if you can afford them both, get them both. but if you can only get one i would probably chosse Ratchet and Clank.

i have a similar question do blu-ray movies generally run better in 1080 i or 720 p? my TV can do both.

All of them are/will be very good games. I would recommend Uncharted over NBA 2K8 unless you are a big basketball fan. Good choice of games though.
