On Tuesday, April 10th, HBO renewed "Game of Thrones" for a 3rd season. Will "A Storm of Swords" be one long season or two seasons?

It is reported that both "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "Catching Fire" the sequels to "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "The Hunger Games" and based on the successful book trilogies are scheduled for release (in 2014? and in 2013), but the directors for the first film (David Fincher and Gary Ross) are NOT doing the sequel films. I know these franchises are not "Harry Potter," but is there something about being attached to film series that there is no longer a strong desire to be a part of it? Or, is the film adaptation more difficult to capture and to shoot due to the success of the previous film?

So, the online servers for "Demon's Souls" will be shutting down on or after May 31st. What does that mean?

No way to know right now. They can't make headway on it until they finish FFvsXIII.MAILER_DAEMON

Isn't there a chance, by some miracle, there might be a trailer at this year's E3?

Simple question:

Will Kingdom Hearts 3 be a PS3 release as we thought, or will Square Enix move the game to the PS4?

[QUOTE="dragonball3900"]Book 3 will be split in two, covering seasons 3 and 4 of the show. Afterwards, the show will likely end and never have to deal with the book 4/5 timeframe problems. Sunfyre7896

Why would the show 'likely' end? Book 3 is one of the most exciting books and translated to screen would incur the highest ratings to date. Season 2 should build ratings on season 1, and season 3 and 4 would build on the previous fanship.

So, do you think the success of Season 2 will lead to a success of Seasons 3 & 4 (given that HBO will split "A Storm of Swords" into 2 seasons)?

Really? No one else?! This project is about how society sees gamers as a "group." What does the world think of us? Another else?

Battletoads.

I could list Harder games, but they were harder due to either a poor control scheme, or incredibly unfair deaths, I atleast feel like Battletoads gave you the possability to survive, but itwas still ballbreakingly hard (yeah you all know what Im talking about, those jetbikes ugh)

Maddie_Larkin

Out of all the times I played "Battletoads," I've only made it past the 3rd level- the one with the jetbikes- twice! Yes, I DID! The first time was when I "found" the warp near the end. The second time was when I actually made it to the end. I was so shocked that I died and got a "Game Over" after starting the 4th level.

[QUOTE="Fantasy721"][QUOTE="Sunfyre7896"]

My opinion is that they'll make season 3 two parts the way they did with The Walking Dead season 2. I didn't even realize that it was the same season being that it was the biggest difference I've ever seen within a single season. Crap -> Redemption.

Anyway, back on topic. Season 3 will be 2 halves of about 10 episodes apiece for a total of 20 if it's still around, which by all accounts it will be seeing as the emmy nominations and golden globe awards.

Season 4 will be the first half of book 4 and the first half of book 5. Instead of running parallel like books 4 and 5 did with each other, they'll just take the first half of each book and make that 10 to 20 episodes. Then season 5 will be the second half of books 4 and 5.

That's my opinion anyway. I can't wait for Sunday and for book 6, whenever that'll be.

Sunfyre7896

I can see that happening, but where did you hear it?

I didn't, that's why I prefaced with 'my opinion.'

I just thought about it logically for the most efficient way and yet still get all of the main points and details and not leave entire chunks out.

When you think about it, it does make sense because from what I've heard (I've only read the first 2 books, I'll be reading the 3rd one this summer) one of the popular main characters is NOT in the 4th book! So, they might have to do that in order to keep the interest of the audience.

The season premiere of Season 2 will NOT disappoint. As for "Winds of Winter," who knows when that will be complete!
