[QUOTE="sdu_1111"] how so? when PS3 players will have the PS3 version, the PC and Mac version when the PC version only has the PC and mac version.sdu_1111
so wait one version is better than another version because it includes that very version which is what makes it superior to that version?
that dont make sense yo.
EXACTLY.
PC/steamDD version = PC + MAC
Mac/steamDD version = PC + MAC
PS3 version = PS3 + PC + MAC + TROPHIES + YOURGAMEONANICEBLURAYDISK ...
Which will you purchase? Which will you give your dollar vote? Saying that it plays best on PC is just very much limited by how well your PC can perform. If i buy the PC version, it can run on ## settings on my PC. But if i do get the PS3 version, i can play it on PS3, AND ON ## settings on my PC too. now how is that not suprieor as what ever we experience is limited by the performance our PCs?
what?? thats not what i was saying at all.
why would someone buy a ps3 version just for the pc version when they can simply just get the pc version? if you put them both together, it does NOT EQUAL ONE VERSION, and hence the PS3 does not get the 'definitive version'. they are two different versions. now if you want to say 'PS3 gets the better deal' then I'm cool with that, but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO YOU CALL IT THE DEFINITIVE VERSION.
EDIT: I'll elaborate a bit more.
The PS3, Mac and PC versions are all different versions. The inclusion of the PC and Mac versions do not make playing it on the PS3 anymore enjoyable and do not change the PS3 experience in any way at all. AT ALL. Whereas there was a case with Mass Effect 2, where including DLC and having an upgraded engine (albeit a lie by Bioware) would improve the experience, including versions from two different platforms does not, and therefore it is not the definitive version.
Best deal = perhaps.
Definitive version= not a chance in hell.
