@Typhus_Mortum Disagree. All the factions are the same and I just found the time period boring.

@JustBeYourself Seriously Total War has the worst fans. It's a fun game! Is it perfect? Of coarse not but I haven't encountered any bugs at all except for crappy naval battles.

Been sleep deprived for the past couple of days because of total war rome. It's fantastic game. I've played all of the total war games starting from the original rome and this isn't a bad entry. Really haven't encountered any bugs either except for the naval combat which sucks. This game is really meant to be played with an ssd drive and a powerful rig. I could see how people would get annoyed waiting several minutes between turns.

@texasgoldrush @Ferric24 @ZRavN Yah you essentially get a different button to press in choose your own colored ending if you have a high ems and get to see shepard gasp for air if you choose destroy ending with high ems. This topic has been debated ad nauseum. The conclusion of the majority of gamers is that it sucked.

And you can't even show me an example of how the final level is different, because there is no difference.

And if your playing ME2 on insanity you better believe it makes a difference on which squadmates you bring along. Your Squadmates aren't interchangeable. So your demonstrably wrong there.

@texasgoldrush @Ferric24 @ZRavN Your proving my point. Superficial cosmetics differences. What gameplay difference does the fleet holding its own or getting wiped out effect? what differences does saving or killing the geth have? Or the Krogan for that matter? By time your two squadmates get vaporized the game is essentially over as far as combat is concerned. Who cares if the crucible is fired upon and damaged, it's still going to look the same. Contrast that to ME2 where not having a squdmate presence or loyalty will have real tangible effects upon gameplay mechanics in the suicide mission and the difference between the quality of the games becomes very clear.

@texasgoldrush How are DA2 characters far superior? There certainly not more interesting or likeable. I sort of like Varric but the rest to me except for Hawkes family were just lame. DAO wore much more interesting. Varric was cool but the rest of the characters were just meh. Contrast them to Sten awesome love of cookies, Morgians brutal pragmatism, Leliana mixture idealism and realism, Wyyne world weary weariness and wisdom, zevran jena se qua, Allistors flippant sarcasm and tender kindheartedness, Oghren hilarious baldy humor. All of which add to the some of the most interesting npcs ever in a rpg

And maybe DA2 shows more than DAO but DAO let's you interact more than DA2 which is important since video games are a interactive medium and not a passive one like film. I felt a much deeper connection to the DAO npcs because I could interact with them in a meaningful way and on my terms. I could outfit them with equipment and explore there dialogue tree on my terms and not the game developers. I much rather explore Leainna fascinating past when I felt it was the right time and not be forced to go to a certain location to see a interactive cutscene. I much rather gathered different gifts and learned who liked them be sent on a simple fetch quest. I've beaten DAo multiple times because of the story and characters. Whereas with DA2 I could only be bothered to beat once because it just wasn't interested enough to do a repeat playthrough because of the flawed story, gameplay, npc, and plot.

@texasgoldrush @Ferric24 @ZRavN Wow I change the color of the lights and see a different preselected cutscene. Having my crew come back or not and having the choice to salvage the reaper core or not were much more impactful and meaningful than ME3 ending which was just stupid.

Your also overlooking how meaningless the final mission was in regards to your previous choices. All of your choices in regards to galactic readiness and which races lives or dies are merely cosmetic. No matter how ready you are and what percentage of ground forces make it the final mission difficulty is the same. Whereas in ME2 your choices have a profound impact into how the final missions plays out. Don't do the loyalty missions and don't recruit all of the npcs are you final mission is going to be heavily impacted in how many crew members come back with you or whether Shepard comes back at all.. In ME2 your choices really mattered.
