@texasgoldrush @ZRavN The extended cut for ME3 made the ending much less nonsensical but in no way did they 'nail it'. The problem in my mind was ME3 was great until the final battle where all of your prep work was basically invalidated as busy work that really didn't have that much of an effect on the final missions. Contrast that to ME2 where you would have a radically different outcome based on your choices and actions preceding the suicide mission. Really Biowares reache exceeded their grasp. If they didn't have the time or resources to make an epic choose your own ending then they should of done something more doable and that had a much more satisfying conclusions.
@texasgoldrush I actually liked all of the characters in DAO while DA2 I really didn't find any of the characters that interesting or compelling except for Hawkes family. Plus being unable to interact with DA2 NPC when I wanted to left me feeling like this wasn't my story but biowares.
