[QUOTE="Fignewton50"]Not playing games online is better than playing games online?? Do tell...Metsvideogame

You can play some games actually. The cross platform games, ill take it over wii where online isnt even taken seriously.

Huh? Like what? You need XBL Gold to play online games.

there is a game you can play online free on silver. Its that multiplayer game that goes accross platform and you can play pc gamers.

Shadowrun? I'd never heard you could play that without a Gold subscription. Even if you could SSBM & Mario Kart >>>> Shadowrun.

Wow, pretty bold move by MS. Cheaper than the Wii? Amazing.

And to all those saying the Arcade is worthless... does it actually play the games? Yes
Can you throw in Halo 3, Gears, and all the other AAA games and play them just fine? Yes
Does not having online make the games not worth playing? Of course not
So quit complaining...

I guess many people don't know about it before they buy it. I'm sure it has a much higher failure rate that the PS2. I've had by big PS2 since launch, and I also have a slim PS2. That broke twice, but the customer service was excellent. I called them up, they came in under 2 days, took the ps2 and at the same time, they gave me a new one!

For the 360 don't you have to post it off then wait for them to fix it? You could be waiting months.

I guess most of them buy the system without knowing of the problems

Who came? A Sony rep came to your house or something?

Yes, you do have to mail it to Microsoft. Most repairs are finished in a matter of days, but the ground shipping is definitely the slowest part. I got mine back less than 2 weeks after mailing it.

It's anti-aliasing, which is also shortened to AA. AA is used to make jagged edges look smooth, and its popular because games and screens are sets of square pixels, so you can't easily make a curved line using square boxes.

Will you really notice the difference on the PS3? Maybe, but it definitely isn't worth worrying about.

I don't really care about home. I don't want that stuff on my gaming console.

killerfist

Agreed, doesn't interest me in the slightest.

[QUOTE="SonyMarksman70"]Well if that's the way you wang to understand my comment go ahead. You know they don't send you your same system. They'd send you a previously refurbished system, since it would take a while before they can send your fixed one to another customer who has to have his replaced.Dont tell me this isnt the case bc it's how my cousin got his systems replaced(3 times). Btw this is the "System Wars" Forum isnt it? So who the h*ll is trying to justify a purchase? The console wars has happened before. 360 is worthless with a RROD you cant do squat.SonyMarksman70

It's obvious you have no experience with 360s and have never owned one, so just stop talking about things you know nothing about. They don't always mail you back a refurbished one. Sometimes its your same console, and sometimes it's a brand spanking new console - which is what happened to me.

Give it up, the only games i've played worth anything on a Xbox console were Mechassault & GeoW.

You first. Your PS3 bias and lack of 360 experience is painfully obvious and it doesn't help your cause at all. Did you play GeoW at a Gamestop kiosk or something?
