The Shadows
by Fire_net on Comments
Hey guys,I have a poem i would like to run by you(it is kind of long so you have been warned):
Shadows
In the dark Shadows you can feel I draw near
I come to stop you and settle my fear
As you know i will claim what is mine
To end the futile quest in which you waste your time
If only you waited and had not stolen it
I would not be right here right now
If i reach you in-time there may still be hope
To save you from the evil that you quickly invoke
But if the need rises i will not falter
To end your life and I will not stray from this path that is set
By the mightiest of bridges in the darkest of lands
The evil takes hold i see you down there
You are no longer human just a beast of despair
With death inside of you and decay on out
I hoped it would not come but now i have no doubt
That your life is over and be it by my hands
I seal up the curse and likewise for these lands
Never to return but always hoping
That deep in the shadows you are still there
Waiting to come back and see the wrongness of your ways
I would accept your plea if only you knew me
But now at least you are stripped bare down to nothing
And cleansed of your doing almost but not fully
For you carry a curse that will haunt for eternity
I hope you will live to see another day
But i don't not yet know what has come of your fate
All that I know is that your quest was sincere
And I hope it is complete
And that that God did hear the bargain you made
And it fulfilled it's promise
But I said it already and I say it again
I can only assume what happened in the end
And now is I cross this bridge one last time
I pray for you and send it to the devinne
I see the great tower that housed your death
And possibly brought her back
Now I turn and ride away
Away into the shadows
that warned you not to stay

Now Fate would reclaim him.
Furious, the Prince insisted that there must be a way for him to live. He would travel to the birth place of the Sands of Time and stop the Sands from ever being created...

Unaware that it held the Sands of Time, the king presented this Hourglass as a gift to his friend, the Sultan of Azad. But the slighted Vizier tricked the Prince intounlocking the Sands, and a powerful curse spread across the Sultan's kingdom, transforming every living living creature into a soulless sand monster - everyone, that is, but three people: the Vizier,by his Staff; the prince, protected by the Dagger; and the Maharaja's daughter Farah, whose medallion had been concealed under her cloak.
Forced to Battle those whom they had once loved, the Prince and Farah fought to undo the Prince's fateful mistake. When at last they succeeded, time rewound to the night before the invation, before the Prince had discovered the Sands of Time in the vualts, or ever met Farah. But now he made a second critical error. To prevent Time from unfolding the same way, he killed the Vizier and warned Farah, giving her the dagger for safe keeping. He didn't yet know that fate doesn't giv up easily...
