So much for this. Tiny Tina's is only Buy 1 Get 1, if you buy it brand new. And guess what?!?! For some f'n reason, Gamestop does not allow you to buy two of the same game brand new. Guess I won't be shopping at Gamestop for my wife and I, for co-op games anymore.

Obviously I don't want ads in my video games.... but if they really are like this... I'm 100% ok with it. I do not mind product placement. Yeah, it can be a little bit distracting when done in a very obvious, out of place, way.
I would stop playing console video games if ads ever became how they are on mobiel (where there's an ad every 30 seconds or so...... an ad after every turn you take, every level you beat, etc.
Now of course... I would only expect these ads in Free video games. Ads have no place in video games that we pay money for. Even mobile knows better than that (where they actually have it so that you spend money on the game and the ads completely go away).
Guess what everybody? Rockstar doesn't give a #%^&$. They're making hundreds of millions of dollars. GTA V on PS5 will continue to make hundreds of millions of dollars.
Yeah, it's terrible for the consumers.... but it's hard to blame Rockstar for selling their souls, integrity and pride. I mean.... hundreds of millions of dollars. That would make a lot of people give up their principles.

@cheeseweasel24: 100% This. I didn't even bother with the Pre-Sequel because of how they handled BL1 and 2 and all it's DLC. When BL3 was announced, I knew it would be a good 2-4 years after release date before I even started looking to get it, because of all the DLC and different versions it would get.
Probably going to wait for a complete version on PS5 for like $20..... that's the sweet spot for Borderlands games.

First of all, the battle cry of Xboxers: "Microsoft has Halo"....lol.
Second of all, I understand your point here is about GENRE and not popularity. So basically I can NOT say "Playstation has Uncharted, GoW, TLOU, etc etc" (too many exclusives to list). Instead I would have to name some FPS games........oh wait, no I wouldn't. All I'd have to do is name ONE FPS game. But here's the thing: I actually agree with you.... the PS4 really doesn't have that one huge FPS game.
Oh wait, but here's the other thing: Overwatch, Titanfall, Call of Duty, Doom Eternal, Destiny, Far Cry, Borderlands, etc......are on both consoles. So basically, lets say there are 20 amazing FPS games. 19 of them are on both consoles, 1 is Xbox exclusive. Not really much of an argument for Xboxers.
But wait, there's more: While you can use the battle cry "Microsoft has Halo"..... Playstation 4 can use pretty much everything else. "Playstation 4 has Action, Adventure, Fantasy, JRPG, RPG, Platform, Survival Horror, Fighting, Strategy"... and the list goes on and on. Xbox One doesn't have a single exclusive in any of those that can compete.
No, I'm not going to finish my comment with those dumb remarks like "And I own all consoles, and PC and I love them all and I like everything, blah blah blah" ..just to try and justify or validate my comment even more.
As a matter of fact, I'm going to admit that I'm a little bit of a Playstation fanboy. I've never owned an Xbox (never been any Xbox exclusives to make it worth it for me to buy one), I like Nintendo and their games and I've never gamed on a PC. But guess what? Me telling you all this absolutely doesn't change a thing about my comment. My comment still holds true and is absolute (even without this paragraph).
So I'm ok with PS4 having 19 out of those 20 FPS games (arbitrary numbers) and letting Xbox One not only have that 1 singular FPS game....while PS4 gets at least one amazing exclusive in each other every other gaming genre that Xbox One cannot compete with :)
@louixiii: It's not going to matter. That didn't work for PS4..... What makes you think it will work for PS5? Now the PS3.... Yes, people re-sold that for thousands of dollars. But there will be plenty of PS5s available. Have fun losing money lol
