Well one year ago today I joined Gamespot. A lot has happened in that year, joined some good unions, seen some die, seen some flourish, met a lot of good people here too. I'm not going to make a list of people though...I'll just say everyone I know is great, and all for different reasons. So yeah its been a pretty great year.
In not so good news, Azure-Supernova was banned. So yeah thats prettybad was for something to do with associating with banned users. Anyways he's appealing about the ban because he didn't fo anything wrong and hopefully he'll get his account reactivated.
In other news, still playing guitar. Starting to remember everything, slowly, but it'll all come back. Been playing The Sims 3, it's a great game. So addictive. Played a little bit of Oblivion the other day. I've got a few more days off school while exams are still taking place, then i'm back at school for two weeks, then it's school holidays for like two or three weeks then back at school again. I've been listening to a fair bit of music...especially Eskimo Joe's new album. It's pretty good. I finally got work experienced organised so my school will be happy. It was meant to be organised by last monday but I don't really care...as long as its organised I'm happy. I've done a little bit of writing, not too much though. But i'm happy with what I wrote so hopefully the writer's block is going away. I re-read Temple by Matt Reilly. Good book. Now I picked up The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks again, another great book. I've got futsal tonight. Hopefully we'll win. I'll probably hang out with friends tomorrow. I'm working on Sunday.
Two nights ago I went into school to go to this meeting. It was about this program called World Challenge. We organise groups of students from our school to go over to Vietnam for a month at the end of next year, after exams. It sounds really interesting. We have to raise money for it and everything with fundraisers and stuff. I'm still not 100% sure if I wanna do it ot not. Anyway once in Vietnam, us student take control. We plan absolutely everything: food, accommodation, our 10 day hike, our community service that we are meant to while over there. It sounds great. There will still be a teacher and a World Challenge leader that come with us but all they do is watch. We do everything else. So i'll be thinking about doing that. That's all.
Thanks for reading and I'll cya 'round
