When you stay 5-10 years behind technology, its easy to make your games run on old computers. If it works for blizzard, then I having nothing against it. But we shouldnt compare them to games that push the limits. Its easy to stay behind the times.
@mission76 +1 in my book. ..and you're right, basically an idiot would buy someone a video game as a going back to school gift. EDIT: im definitely older and crankier.
Of course warcraft 3 gets recommended. This site is owned by Blizzard. The cpu in my watch could run warcraft3; the games so old. At least they didnt recommend any MMOs... Oops, on second glance, I see WOW. Excellent idea, an MMO is perfect for children attending school. Gamespot, I feel a blizzard in my pants. Thats some major league blowing.
