Ill be honest and say i think Gears of War is more overrated than Halo.

Halo 3 and the previous 2 Halos were actually not only great, but set the standard or raised the bar for console shooters in certain aspects.

Halo COmbat Evolved took the torch from the PD and goldeneye run, and set the new standard for console shooters.

Halo 2 set the standard for online multiplayer for console shooters and the basic setup for the xbox live interface that we have today.

Halo 3 while not as groundbreaking, still had an amazing feature in Forge and Theatre, and the community system is just very well done and in my opinion the next big step for the console shooters. A true community feel.

Gears of War was more shallow, repetitive, easy, simple, buggy, and very limited. Great visuals. Good game. But personally it isn't the biggest game for the 360 in 08.

GTA 4 is.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is

Banjo Kazooie 3 is.

Atleast for me. Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 stomped all over Gears of War for me, and id rather wait for the next big Bungie and Infinity Ward shooter than Gears of War 2. jg4xchamp

Halo 3's multiplayer is boring.

Geow was a great game, but overated IMO.

Storyline sucked.Characters were not interesting.Campaign was short (Finished it in less than a day), Multiplayer was not balanced. It was all just running around shotgunning everything that moves until you get the Longshot and headshot everyone.

Still had some awesome graphics and I enjoyed taking cover from enemies, which the game did really well.

Yes, it, sort of, does. However, I find the characters fascinating. The story isn't good - I agree. But, in my opinion, it doesn't need to - Gears of War is a tremendous shooter without a story.

Boom Blox- look fun

Disaster Day of Crisis- Looks very interesting

Conduit- not sure if it's 08 tho

Sadness- Ah yes, this game but still no gameplay lol stupid Nibris show some already.

HL2 is the pinnacle of gaming as is GTA4. i find SMG to be fun but WAY overrated.
