I just upgraded my PC and I can not play COH on all high settings. Just wondering why. It has to be the cpu or sli isn't working. Otherwise I have no explanation.

Specs

AMD 4800+ Dual Core 2.4 Ghz stock speed

2 8800 Gt's in sli mode

2 gigs of ram

Sounds a little bit too good for 999 lol. Pretty good system should run almost all games on high except for crysis (most likely mix of high and medium).

Yes it is, but it depends on what kind you have for how well it will it will oc. I have and AMD dual core 4800+ 2.4 ghz @ 2.52 ghz, and at most I probably can get it to 2.6.

Hmm if Nvidia go Ntune.I tried Ntune didn't work, froze my mouse and system whenever I started it up. So I guess I have to go with rivatuner. Nevertheless I think CPU overclockingis better done in the BIOs (I have already tried it, my mobo has a feature where you set the clock and it automatically adjusts), and GPU better done in windows (not much experience through BIOs if possible). But who am I to say, I was asking in the first place.

Thanks

I was just wondering what you guys prefer.

Overclocking through the BIOs or through a program like RivaTuner?

Are there any downsides to either?

Say you overclock through a windows program and you suffer a crash where you cannot start up windows, can you still revert the settings back to normal through the bios?
