Obviously, the TC has not ever played GRID, he just looks at nice screenshots of it. Otherwise, he would not make such nonsense arguments such as this.

After playing the demo of GRID, it was quite obvious, the graphics were no more than a slightly more polished version of DiRT. Great graphics, but not near photo-realistic like GT5P.

I have a 60gig PS3 and GT5P

And i have the GRID demo on both my 360 and PS3. PS3 demo suffers from some slight clipping issues.

Lets see you have the BMW race and the drift score challenge and the Mustang race in the demo. When i start the demo i choose my name country and i can pick my real name and the game calls me by my real name.

For instance, racing on the San Fransisco track. Final lap, I'm barely in the lead. Coming around a corner I clipped some tires stacked along a barricade. This sent a stack of tires rolling onto the track which resulted in the car on my tail loosing control and flipping into a barrel roll and the car behind him spun out and hit the wall. I had more fun in that 10 seconds of GRiD than I've had in the hours I spent racing in GT5P.

Exactly. GT5P is a complete BORE FEST. And i do not expect any real added fu facotr in GT5 full game. even with Damage added. And a few extra bells. It's still nowhere near the fu n factor of GRID or PGR for that matter.

Honestly GT is outdated. And the whole sim fun facotr is worn thin these days.

Like you describe GRID is just amazing fun.

Strangly though. I think it looks slighty better on my 360 version. On my 60+ HD tv 1080P HDMI. It looks so crisp and sharp on my setup.

Another point to be made is GT5 is a JAGGIE fest.

GRID not one Jag anywhere. 360 version for that matter. I did not really see any for PS3 version either.

As you can see i posted this becuase i want the truth to be said about each. GT5 cleary has the better car models when you watch the replays. But what most over look with GT5 is the enviroments are down right TERRIBLE. They are 3D cutouts tacked on in the backgorunds. And at that they look very very bland. The grass looks terrible. And The bridge and the water. Is so lifess. I mean the water does not move. I stopped and looked and i was like man that really gives the game a dead feeling.

Just look how much more alive GRID looks then GT5.

And beleive me i tested both. I have GT5P. And the envoirments stink in comparison to GRIDS. GT5 feels so lifelss. And when you stop and look around. The enviorments are not that pretty at all. It's the car models that fools the eyes.

Not to mention GRID is so alive with full damage model. It just feels like a livivng breathing world of great car racing action.

Get over yourselves, ps3 lost 2007 will loose 2008, and if those 3 ps3 games released 2009 don't get great reviews they will loose 2009 as well.
