I have only had to start selling my games recently, because I am out of a job and all.
If we could all keep our jobs :P, I have no problem with digital distribution. I have had so many games that simply won't work because of the disc. These problems could be all behind us.
I used to use guides to get the hidden stuff that I couldn't find, after FAQ's on the Internet failed me. But then after Assassin's Creed with its obnoxiously huge number of flags and then Grand Theft Auto IV with its 100 pidgeons I just dont' care anymore...
I generally buy the guides for the Final Fantasy games too, just a habit.
You can't learn everything about a game, or fully appreciate a game by only going through it once. If reviewers were not always a in a hurry to get their review done first they could take the time and write what they really think, not the same old cliche garbage. It would also be nice if they reviewed games that they WANTED To review, instead of whatever the newest thing is.
Considering that a television is really just a large computer monitor (and for the sake of argument, I know of a couple of friends who hookup thier PCs to their 37 inch televisions, never seen Warcraft 3 that big before :P) I would say I would just use my PC more often.
And attempt to get a new television as soon as possible of course, so I could multitask again.
