@Ryouji_kaji @idosofacility no.... it is a parry and yes, you do need to use timing, also the dodge is pressing jump and attack at the same time plus the direction. you sir, should play the game first before you speak. I have played it. served.
@chun-IDGAF-li @YEPEE00 @Void_Kross Not true, there is no block button and the enemies attacks bypass your own alot of the time, so mashing doesn't help. play the demo before you state false facts.
@chun-IDGAF-li there is no such thing as button mashing to win in this game. play the demo on normal and you will see what I mean. the enemies are constantly attacking you, there is not block button so the only way to avoid attacks is with timing(this game has a parry system). if you mash buttons then you be hit over and over again which does stagger you, get staggered 2 or 3 times then you get stunned not to mention after only a few hits your life is already pretty low.
@H4num4n @theteaface yep, too many people don;t understand what a QTE really is. Darksiders had this same thing, when the enemy is low on health you can press a onscreen command to do a cinematic kill. where as a QTE is a series of button promps to perform a single action.
@Halloll these are more like promps to initiate a kill strike. QTE's are more like GOW where there is a series of promps, like 3, 4 or even 5 commands to preform a single cinematic action. This game only uses 1 and it happens when the enemies are on their death bed and its totally optional. in GOW their QTE's are not optional.
