US Senators are a bigger problem than both guns and video games combined. Lets break it down, Video games are a source of jobs, revenue and entertainment. Guns, sure in some ways do the same things but guns really do kill people, they are purely designed to inflict harm, when was the last time you heard of someone being kill by a water pistol?

And finally, you have Senators who are the biggest problem ~ they take revenue from the people, they limit growth, they attempt to limit freedom and the list goes on and on.

Shame about THQ, but other publishers should use this as a humble warning. These days, the entire gaming market is fragile and the customers are king, no longer can big box companies ignore the customers, they need to start thinking about Q/A again.

How many people here can remember when games came out that was considered complete and/or more or less bug free? The widespread use of the internet gave publishers a wide open release window, and often release games waay too early in the development process, and hence suffer from huge, and often game breaking bugs ~ this hurts the publisher as customers start to lose confidence, and that leads to less sales.

Idiots...making games a scapegoat so it takes the heat of the real problem, gun control. This is probably the work of the NRA trying to put blame on something other than them. How about the United States gets a far better mental health care coverage for the people who really need it, and a far tighter gun control.

Lets face it, The state of mental health in this country is almost as bad as China, Insurance costs, premiums and Doctor bills require significant $$$$ costs, how many people with mental health issues can't afford the proper care, and what about the people who slip through the cracks?

The problem is, by blocking used sales completely could cause another global recession, the simple reasoning here ~ look at the global market for used games, look at the small businesses out there worldwide selling new and used games, look at the bigger companies who would literally have to slash their workforce. You're talking a huge amount of people losing jobs and income here worldwide.

The smart thing to do if this blatant dis-respect for the consumers would be to ask a small charge say $5 for activating certain features like online play for used games. Asking too much like $10 increases the overall cost and then looks bad, if you pay $30 for a used game, then have to pay an additional $10 on top of that, in the end you're not saving much, after all ~ alot of people who buy used games are looking for older titles or received the console for a present and want a quick game library boost.

Used game sales have never been an issue until recently, companies wanting more and more money. Corporate greed in the end, will create that final game over for everyone. Not unless they realize the consumers are not mere numbers or tools, we pay for their fancy cars and fancy clothes after all. If you want more money, go after someone else ~ leave the consumers alone for once.

You also realize this comes from the same department that created the infamous root kits right? Even if Sony doesn't use it themselves, someone out there got them to create it, conspiracy mode on..

No PS4 for me, in fact no more systems for me that support this pure capitalist feature. Not unless they want to lower the price down significantly on games, and hell will freeze over before that happens right?
