I just recently picked up this game off my friend. When I got it i was just expecting somthing along the lines of its name, just another boring plain old shoot em up. Boy was I wrong. This game is totally amazing in terms of game play and music, your basically playing though a interactive album. Its a surprise that it made by a single person with a guitar and basic game designing skills. The gameplay is along the lines of Geomatry Wars but each of the levels play almost different and you only get points from shooting certain enemies. Those certain targets change with the levels. Each song on the album is a level and once the song is over the level over and it goes to the next level. There are also a bunch of unlockables to keep the replay value up such as shuffle mode and 8 bit mode but some of the extras require some serious play time. Everything was balanced perfectly. This was defiantly one of the best downloaded games I've played.

The creators of the hit game F.E.A.R. featuring awesome bullet time firefights and the always scary alma is now in development of a sequel due to be released in 2008. the only problem is that monolith games does not own WB's trademarked name so they can not name the game F.E.A.R 2 or any name that has the abbreviation F.E.A.R in it so now they have made a poll for what the game will be called, it has been going on for a while now, and it is down to 3 finalists, they are: Dead Echo: maybe because in the first game there were whispers and voices coming from no where. Blends action with horror. Project Origin: the actual name of the project in FEAR that made alma. The details of the project will go futher in deph in the sequel. Dark Signal: the signals that you get through out the first game that say unknown origin. This will return in the sequel. Whatever the name maybe called it will be an awesome one. Just watched Nintendo's and Sony's press confrences and was really impressed by both of them, even got emblems for it. Microsoft was quite boring though (not a halo fan)... anyways top 3 games im looking forward to is Metal gear solid 4, Killzone 2, and Mariocart(in that order). Looking forward to a lot of games none the less and everyone should keep up with the up to date news found on gamespot and G4 t.v. for those who have IO and don't for get to check out the trailers on gametrailers.com or here at gamespot. Ok this is it. Soon all the systems will collide. The Sony PS3 with its powerhouse of a beast system using new blu-ray and cell technology, the Nintendo Wii with Innovative technology and new sleek controller(s) at only $250, Or the head start online ruler the Microsoft Xbox 360 with already tons of games and support pushing traditional technology to its best. This batch of next gen consoles look really good, and the fanboys are all over it. Im looking forward to this! Plz post what you think of any of the new consoles.
