Oblivion was smaller and it's probably the longest game I have played this gen.

For those of us who don't know. What can DX11 do that DX9 can't? I'm guessing Crysis 2 isn't an open GL game if the DX version matters so much but I'm not up to date on why dx11 is so great.

In terms of the effects and overall detail it's definately the most advanced game I have seen. It makes Gears and other UE3 engine games look very dated. The original Crysis not as much because it doesn't have the scale but in most other areas it does look more advanced.

From what I have seen of the beta single-player on utube I think Crysis 2 has better art design. It also seems a bit more detailed and with more advanced effects. Those are the positives. The negitives are the environments don't appear to be as destructable or as large.

I couldn't get into those two RPGs. For me the two highlight RPGs this gen were the first Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

PS3 is more powerful but you have to do some work to get the extra power as the cell is more exotic than the xenon as is the PS3's RAM. The 360 is more developer friendly and that's why multiplats often look best on it. However if you put the best developer in the world to work on games for both platforms and there was no time limitations or budget involved the PS3 would produce the best graphics. Of course most games are made with time and budget constraints and are not always developed by very technically gifted devs so often the 360 does have the best versions of multiplat games on consoles.

Witcher 2? Shogun Total War 2?

PC gamers are very vocal about any former PC exclusive moving to consoles, regardless of the years lineup.

Twin-Blade
Isn't Witcher 2 coming to consoles or am I missing something? http://gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/thewitcher2/index.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B2
