[QUOTE="DreamCryotank"]Unfortantely it's not a carbon copy of Crysis 1 so it's automatically deemed terrible. :roll:Gamerz1569

If anything its a carbon copy of COD, radar? radar jammer? orbital strike (aka air strike), ceph gunship? (aka chopper). Modules aka perks? 6v6 max? Its a step down fom COD MP and that's saying a lot.

As for the SP, unsurprisingly linear. And like other complaints, FoV ( gun tasking quite a bit of space), blurry (this isn't KZ), no prone, no lean (at the very least the cover system was decent).

I think its more of not being written on the same paper rather than not being a carbon copy.

I don't see it being like COD but sci-fi and with as aliens as a bad thing. COD is one of the most popular series so of course developers are going to copy aspects of it. I didn't not enjoy Tekken because it copied Virtua Fighter, Forza because it copied GT ect. and this will be the same. Crysis 2 = Halo + COD and that = awesome.

I bet you developers can already do that on PC, but they just wont.TheAcountantMan
I'm sure they can. What else would they be building the engine on? Like last gen they build engines on PC than port them to console hardware once they know exactly when the specs are. They probably already have a general idea because Epic will be one of the key developers for next gen console and MS would have given them a rough idea of the specs for it's next console. I believe we will see the next gen Xbox sooner than many think.

Gamers want fun games. If they can be complex and fun that's great but they need to be fun or rewarding. It's harder to make a game rewarding than fun because... they are just games.

Seems like Crytek set out to impress and dominate all platforms and ended up disappointing everyone. ferret-gamer
Not everyone. The new MP demo released the other day on 360 runs as smooth as silk, has perfect controls and looks great. I'm getting the game for sure and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the best FPS available on 360 when released. I can't stop playing the demo and I'm usually more of a fan of single-player FPS. Which will probably be the main attraction for me when the full game is out but I would buy it just for the MP at this point.
