Exactly what the thread title says. Sony should have never made a trophy system. In my opinion, the 360's worst feature is the achievements, and now Sony has a similar set up? It destroys the old school gaming. I don't know about you but I feel like if I don't complete every little thing and get every little achievement, I'm crap. Whatever happened to just sitting down and playing a game for fun? WTF are these trophies?

Achievements / Trophies ruin my gameplay experience, as I am sure it does to others.

What are your thoughts on it?

I think your thoughts are the problem rather than the trophies system.

It's actually pretty gd. While it didn't feel like a fighting game at 1st since you could run all around places (press X to jump then hold X and you would jump all around like crazy), it's not slow and shallow like I expected it to be. After a few matches to get used to the controls, it's actually fast and fun with enough mechanics to explore for the hr I played it.

I like DBZ's gameplay but I hate the events breaking in every so often.

Naruto have 4-5 attacking options while DBZ only have 2 options so I guess Naruto would last longer.

And for the person who said the story of MGS is silly:

The storyline is meant to be understood by mature people with mature brains. The story is full of twists and is very detailed, every bit of MGS is important.

When a person just couldn't get something, he would usually response "it sux" or "it's stupid".

You need to grow up, buy your mom some flowers and take a break from videogames, clearly you take them WAYYY too seriously. If you have any sort of conscience or set of morals, you will look back on this episode with shame in the future

If he needs to grow up, then u need to do it even more. Dont blame the game, blame the father. He taught his son over time how to react violently to these situations.

You couldn't blame all on the father, I mean it was still his call to cursed out to his mom.

And go to any public High School in US, you would hear F-bombs exploding everywhere. If you have to blame on something, blame the society, the kid, the kid's friends, AND the father. If you could stop kids from cursing entirely, pm me and tell me how (w/o violating US law).

You know what, MGS is not for everyone. Just like FF, not everyone is into this kind of deep story; plus you need patients to play this game while many would like to kill everything in sight right away.

So yeah, don't force ppl to like this game although it ROCKS!!
