@servb0ts totally right, though the DS is a handheld...so its not exactly the same kind of comparison as if it were two consoles, but still, nintendo is still nintendo.

i hope the other two consoles cross the 100 million just in order for me to get some cool games (customer support = GT6, Beyond, and beyond [pun intended]). other than that, i wouldn't care if they brag about it or not, because selling units is good for their pockets, not mine.
