@dzimm: hmmmm this sounds interesting. Normally games have freedom but only up to an extent. A game being approachable from all directions is new to me. This is also the first time i hear this. Thanks for the explanation :)
„although you do need to be able to read“ that was brilliant XD
@algernonftw: totally agree. I dont understand the obsession either. I couldnt finish it precisely because it drags too much. And the interface? Omg. You read my mind. Good game, i truly mean that. But 10/10? Hell no.
SM Odyssey...b@tch please. A 7 for that game is still too much. Just my opinion though. I believe this is just praised because it is a Mario game. I will never buy a Mario game again. I never played them that much after my childhood, wanted to jump back with this one and omg what a mess of a game for me. No fun. Ok the artistic design was awful and lacked originality in every way (a soup cooking world? Wtf) but in the end w/e, the story is horrible but i dont mind that because it is a platformer in the end. The „fun“ though? Where is it? What is fun about getting moons that place little to no challenge just for the sake of getting moons? Celeste beats this game by teaching it what made Mario good in the first place: platforming and engagement. Again, my opinion. You all love it and i truly believe that is great. Just because one person doesnt like it wont change anything. In fact, it is very nice that im in the huge minority, because we can sum it up by saying it is a matter of taste or that it is simply „not for me“. Totally agreed. I just wanted to share my point, even though i will probably be disrespected in a few seconds by harsh responds. Again, it is just my opinion and im only one guy. No need to get mad.
I expressed this solely because of the 10. If it were a 9 id be ok because even though i dont agree at all i dont see much problems with that. But i got the game trusting it was „essential“ only to find out it was the entire opposite.
