This was a great Christmas this year. Got the whole weekend off, and some great games. :)

A great year for Xmas with games :D

The VGAs have happened, and that means announcements and awards.

Did you watch it this year? What was your favorite game announcements? what are you excited for that was announced? Did you think the awards were spot on or missed their mark?

I for one used twitter as my base to keep up on all the gaming news this time. xD I talked with a lot of you as it happened, and tweeted like crazy. It worked pretty well since I couldn't watch the VGAs on spike.

I'm totally shocked to see a new SSX game. FINALLY! Not only that, a new elder scrolls and mass effect 3 to boot! Looks like the series will take the fight to earth. Also uncharted 3 announced as well.

The next year wish list has already started folks. :P Get ready.

Lately, I've snatched up on some darn good deals, for the 360 and for the PC!

A while ago Games For Windows Live went insane and offered The Age of Empires III Complete Collection for just 10 cents.

Obviously, I bought it. :p

Also, during black Friday week on XBLA I got:

Also, Games For Windows Live went insane yet again, and in the past 2 days for 99 cents each I got:

Yes, I owned and completed VP on the 360, but the game was so good, that for 1 bucks I'll glad pay to play it through all over again.

I got Deadly Premonition too for $15

Deals aside, I also got Pac-Man Championship Edition Dx...and already got all of the achievements. The game is awesome, with lots of modes, so plenty of gametime ahead.

I love the holiday season. :P

Lucky, me, on Wednesday, I manged to get one of the new Windows 7 phones, the Samsung focus (which is apparently the most desired right now of all the new WP7 phones).

And let me tell you I'm absolutely in love with this thing.

The pluses:

The title setup, it's neat, customizable, and easy to use.

Integrates with your live account, live networks, facebook and phone contacts in the people tile.

Xbox live! Yes you cna communicate with everyone on xbox live, get achievements with xbox live games for the phone, customize you avatar, and there are demos for all WP7 games.

There are free games too of course including two Xbox live games (Ilomilo and Flowerz)

Yes, there is a free Halo Waypoint app for your phone, and I must say it's prolly even better then the one on Xbox live. xD

Tons of apps already for a device that's only been out since Monday, including lots of free ones.

The apps load fast.

Camera is pretty good.

And the screen is absolutely vivid and gorgeous!

So I must say I'm impressed and excited for this device. I can't wait to see what comes down in apps and games for the thing. If you're looking for a new phone, and desire something that works very well with your social needs (mail, people, facebook, twitter etc.) and want a phone cable of some great gaming, then this phone might be something you want to take a look at. Highly recommended.

I'll prolly do some reviews of some of the xbox live games for the phone later. If you guys and gals have any questions about the phone, or Windows Phone 7 OP just ask away. :)

On the 360, (unless you have been udner a rock), you know that the fall update has happened. And one of the biggest updates is the new ESPN on 360 thing. The first channel on a video game console.

And I think that's awesome.

I've been watching it a lot lately. xD on Wednesday I saw the lakers game live, last night the clippers/bulls game. Watched the international judo matches earlier this week on demand.

What do you guys and gals think? have you tried it yet? with netflix and this, I'm in heaven xD.

Simple, yet fun Rpg? Yes, Cool Idea? Yes. Made by Double Fine? Oh yes yes!

Seriously, guys and gals at least give this game a try, it's fun, funny, and a great way to get into the halloween season.

I'm having loads of fun. :P
