If you look at the (free) Elite services, it's clearly a lot better than games like Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, that did not have "Interact Everywhere" or FB friend import.

Those services were free and offer just as many useful features.

Hell BF3's battlelog has as many useful stat tracking features as elite. Just because you have more features doesn't mean it's better.

Remember these are merely the free features. Once you actually play for Elite, I think it will become unbeatable. It suits the competetive gamer very well.

Black Ops was more balanced than CoD4, the leaked script of MW3 on Kotaku shows that it's terrible, 30 killstreaks means just 30 ways to get free kills, weapon XP progression has been done in other games and isn't all that great, elite is nothing new and should be standard by now, and other games have just as much action.

13. The story concludes

The ones of us that were on from the beginning, will now get to finally know how it (the world, perhaps?) ends. Do we get to kill Makarov, and in what way? It doesn't get more exciting than this.

12. Infinity Ward

I know a lot of guys left the team, but there is still a huge amount of talent left. IW is one of the most talented developers of the industry, no doubt. Can't be denied. Just look at what they've done for the FPS market.

11. Action

CoD defines the word action more than any other game, movie or book has ever done in history. If you look at Modern Warfare 3 (clips), you know this will be the most intense and energic experience you'll ever have with a CoD game for various of reasons.

10. Control scheme for disabled gamers, color blindness settings

Infinity Ward think of every gamer, literally. This is one of the best decisions by a developer in recent times. Imagine if you were disabled or colorblind...

09. Prestige Shop

Finally we get something nice, appropriate and fitting when we prestige. It's a very tough choice, after all!

08. More gameplay customization, less character customization

The customization of Black Ops was fantastic, though it resulted in the gameplay not being as smooth and excellent as people would have wished. MW3 returns with the cutomization, their primary focus being (as has always been): gameplay.

07. MW2 + CoD4 = MW3

CoD4 was the most balanced CoD game ever. MW2, on the other hand, was the most entertaining game ever to play (though unbalanced. United, we get the most balanced and fun game ever. Infinity Ward has constantly stated how MW3 is like a mix of MW2 and CoD4, and CoD XP gamers have approved. It looks better than ever.

06. Weapon XP progression

In previous games, we have had our character progress, leveling up in XP. This time around, your weapons will join that quest! It's going go be awesome (leveling up your character and weapons as well!)

05. Private Match Modes

When one has played the online multiplayer for like 400 hours and needs to relax with something else (for a while, of course), these new modes are sure to gratify! Reminds one of Left4Dead a bit!

04. 30 Killstreaks

So many great and interesting things to choose from, whether you are a supporting player, or the attacking bulldog.

03. Specialist Package

Finally a real challenge for us all great players of Call of Duty. It will be awesome attaining every perk in the game after 8 careful kills. A very great add to the CoD franchise, for those that do not care for the traditional killstreaks.

02. Survival Mode

Bye bye, Gears of War 2 and 3. This is the future, from now on. Thanks for participating, though! Arguably the best thing about Modern Warfare 3. Will be endlessly entertaining trying to beat ones record, over and over again!

01. ELITE

Nuff' said. Even the free features are better than any other (even the paid ones) online services in the world. This will be the reason Modern Warfare 3 will dominate any other game of this, and next, year.

Seems good. One good thing about Call of Duty is that the pacing online is intense. If you're looking for action, it's definitely not hard to find. Call of Duty's maps are sized pretty well considering the player count and gameplay.

If the maps in MW3 were to be anything like BF3's, I wouldn't buy the game.

I was planning to buy it way before I made that decision and Activsion had no influence on my decision but I seriously wish you would open up GTA2012 and accept that the COD franchise has a pile of issues currently plauging it that the devs are not really bothering to fix.I basing my predictionoff of what I heard from general impressions from the internet for this game.
