Here are a few speed tweaks that Firefox users can do to enhance the speed of the browser and cut down on 'Server not found' or missing pages errors: 1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries: network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading. You can copy and paste the entries mentioned above to find them faster. Now: 2. Alter the entries as follows: Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true" (simply double click the text that says 'false' to change to true) Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true" (same as above) Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once. (just double click the number that appears and enter 30) 3. Lastly right-click anywhere within the page and select New -> Integer. Name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. These little tweaks will enhance the speed of your browser and you will definitely notice the difference. Now mind you, these changes should not cause harm to the stability of the browser, however, there will be a little warning from Mozilla since you can do more than speed tweaks when you enter the configuration menu. Well for a random reason, I took a look at the emblems I had. To my surprise, I remember when I got them and why :shock:

- Got it for ordering Total Access. Later on I became a mod then it was free :D - One of the 1st emblems I got. Funny thing I just added random people as friends. It was a pain to clean the friend list later on though Q_Q - Got it for testing something sexy during my 1st mod period. - I remember getting this only for the sole purpose of testing the requirements for one of the 1st versions of the emblem guide, - Being a PC gamer, I needed to represent. This was another one of the 1st ones I got. - Got this on 04 for voting for Gamespot ^_^ - For voting in the readers choice awards in 05..which I think was the 1st edition of those?? - I think I got this one for voting in the choice awards. - Glitch :P Not supposed to have the two voting emblems :P Haxxors! ^_^ Also just noticed its missing from the emblem guide :? - For tagging like a madman when tags where introduced on gs. - For watching the 06 E3 sony conference ^_^ Sadly I still don't have a PS3. - Got this when videos where introduced on GS for uploading a video ^_^ - Got this one for uploading a video blog. Sadly I have erased it :( No more sexy accent :P - Got this for uploading 4 videos of MountandBlade. - Just noticed I got this one lol Must have been for some of the commercials I uploaded ^_^ - One of my favorite emblems. Got it for consuming a lot of data during e3 06. Don't ask me how much data.... - I'm a football fan. There's no way I would miss a battle of GS offices between US and UK :P - For watching the Boss of Bosses show. Sadly I don't think it was continued. - My other favorite emblem. Got it for tuning in to the Tokyo game show in 06. - I liked this contest. I got this one for voting for user made videos to see who had the best Mortal Kombat scream. - Don't remember the even, but it was late :P - For watching bout an 1hr of the burning crusade marathon. I'm still not convinced to play WoW. - For watching the broadcast for the PS3 launch in 06. - Same as the ones above. I'm supposed to have only 2 I believe. Haxxors ^_^ :P - For completing the first scavenger hunt on GS. I liked those. They need to bring them back. - Voting for Readers choice awards in 07 ^_^ - For completing the scavenger hunt in 07 with an impressive time. I'm proud ^_^ - Got this for tuning into e3 conferences in 08. - Same as above except Sony and 09. On a side note, 09 was the 1st time I went to e3. - For being a 'ranger'...though I been a 'ranger' for quite some time now. Since How to Gamespot was called Noob Nation. Fun times ^_^ I think I have seen way too much GameSpot history. This site has grown big, very big :shock: While I'm at it, time for a random fact: How long have I been using the same avatar? - For 6 years.
