A developer for Haze made some big comments in regards to the PlayStation 3.

The developer stated that the power of the PlayStation 3 is greater than anything else currently out there. This would likely mean that the developer would highly prefer the PS3 over working on other next-gen consoles such as the Xbox 360, Wii, or even the PC.

The developer is working on the PlayStation 3 to create the most realistic environments and experiences they have ever been able to accomplish. Check out the screenshot below of Haze to get an idea of just what type of realism he is talking about...

The dev stated in an interview that "Working on PS3 has allowed us to create vastly superior environments that verge on photorealism - full-screen effects, High Dynamic Range and obscenely complex shaders. Its more challenging than ever before, but the power is greate than anythinglse that's out there."

Big words from a big developer in support of the PlayStation 3.

Wrong. The power of the ps3 is not greater than a PC Powerhouse. It will never be. 360 perhaps but these are just censored comments in the sense that they are exclusive to ps3 on this game

I have 1 question for Jack Thompson.  Why not Gears of War which sold 3 million in one month? Why not Saints Row? Why not Counter Strike, the most played FPS ever? Why not Forza 2 since it teaches me how to drive fast?

Attacking Halo 3 as a "hyperviolent" game is just ridiculous.  The games entire single player features a space marine killing an ALIEN race to save humanity...again...to SAVE HUMANITY...not to kill for fun.  The game also features ZERO dismemberment, and a very low amount of blood even in the most horrific of plasma grenade sticks.  Halo 3 features out of this world (litterally) weapons ranging from a plasma sword to a needle shooting tracking gun that glows bright purple.

Referring to Halo as a training device is almost as ridiculous as thinking beating MSFT in court is possible.  You CANNOT train on a video game to make yourself better at using a real weapon.  Holding a control is NOTHING like holding a real weapon.  The control does not move with the slightest breath, the vibration of a control resembles actual weapon recoil to the slightest degree.  Leading a target in Halo is nothing like leading a target in real life... if anything the "beltway" sniper could have used Halo to train in the sense that after playing he knew how NOT to shoot a real weapon.

Using the Sims to learn how to run a real family, or playing Grand Turismo to learn how to handle a car on a rally course, or  playing NBA 2k7 to learn how to shoot perfect three point shots is on the same level of insanity and ignorance as saying someone can learn to kill by playing Halo. 

Apperently the idea of style and theme have never crossed your mind.  Gears looks great because of its look. It looks good because its realistic (to an extend).  Halo3 on the other hand has a theme, they are not aiming for photo realistic.  Halo uses a lot of purples, greens, and blues because those are the colors that best convey the type of setting you are in (kinda future, not human for the most part). 

 People now for some reason think unless its grey and brown, its not good looking.

The only main reason it can become "bricked" is that the console has been modified.

No mine bricked after getting the Gears update.  Like the moment it finished i was greeted with the lights.  Updates for some reason are dangerous
