If you look at my signature you can see that I only had my Ps3 for a short time.

COD4: 70+ hours. I have no intention of stopping.

NBA Street Homecourt: 30 minutes. Huge dissapointment, nothing like Street Vol 2.

Burnout Paradise:10 hours. Good game, and I would like to go back for more but I am too addicted to COD4. When the Bike updates and trophy updates come out, I will surely add more hours to this game.

Super Stardust HD: 6 Hours. I plan to continue playing this since it's a great game to just sit down and play-- in fact I was going to play this morning but PSN is currently down :(

Resistance FOM: Around 5 hourish. I just bought this 3 days ago. Not as good as I thought it would be, online is horrible and pretty much non existant now. Story is decent and I plan to finish it so I am expecting 15 hours out of this game.

First of all MrRazzie, I hate you. I've been looking everywhere for the 80GB but I settled with the 40 GB instead because I couldnt find it.

Secondly, welcome to the Playstation Community.

I suggest getting Call of Duty 4 hands DOWN as a first game. Online play will surely suck 40+ hours out of you. You are welcomed to add me on PSN, "Alpha-Male22".

Ultimately it depends on what you are looking for: if you are more of a single player gamer Uncharted is probably the best choice on the PS3.

If you are rather into multiplayer, then CoD4 is the King of Multiplayer at the moment.

So far I have 4 games and every game I have hasn't been able to shien a light next to CoD4.

Whatever the choice you make, congratulations on your purchase.

I am talking about the first one-- do people still play online?

I am very interested in picking this game up but I want to what the general amount of people that play online.

I picked up Resistance originally but I think I may return it for R6V. I also heard some bad stuff about R6V2's online play (lag and whatnot) so I think I will skip out on that too.

Any and all help is appreciated. As much as I love COD4 (play it everyday) I want another online shooter :D

Speaking of PSN, I am havig a tough time deciding between Bionic Commando and Street Fighter Alpha PSOne version.

I know that they can be a bit incomparable but I am looking for a good multiplayer game-- Is Street Fighter Alpha 1 good?

And yes, I too am surprised at the growing PSN collection. I think one edge Sony has over MS is their line up of classic games, and I think that if they play their cards right, they can offer a whole list of great memorable titles for the future.

Sony Playstation 2 was one of the best consoles that ever existed. It still is.

Almost every gamer has a PS2-- or at least almost PS3 owner. I think that BC is a nice addition, but I have never really wanted to play PS2 games on my PS3-- the major reason being that I own a PS2.

Here's the thing though: If YOU want to play PS2 games doesnt that at least MEAN that you OWN a product that plays those games?

I think that people who have PS2's and PS3's with no backward compatibility are being a little greedy.

I am new to Street Fighter first and foremost. I never had the privilege of owning a gaming console when I was younger, and I only go as far back as the Sega Dreamcast (my first console, and my baby).

Anyways, I noticed that Street Fighter Alpha was available on the PSN for 4.99.

The question I have is-- is it good? I want a simple multiplayer game at this point and I was deciding from between Bionic Commando Rearmed and Street Fighter Alpha.

I noticed that only IGN has reviewed the game under their Retro Roundup section, but I want to hear from people who have already downloaded.

Peace, and thanks in advance.

LittleBigPlanet

Street Fighter IV

Fat Princess (PSN Download)

Rock Band 2

Resistance 2 or Killzone 2-- even though K2 has a lot of hype on it right now.

CoD4 was 10/10 for me. It's one of the few games I have given a 10/10 to, and I don't do it too often (even though I have 3 or 4 10/10 games).

I am VERY worried about #5 simply because I thought #4 was well though out and balanced (multiplayer). All this about swimming and having Bomb-Invinicbility perks (in multiplayer again) makes me worried.

For #6 I would like a longer story and maybe better online functions-- actually being able to make a room would be good.

SHADOW!? YOU HATED SotC??

I loved that game-- though, I dont really play adventure games over again once I beat them. Still, it was a very moving and very beautiful experience.

For me it would have to be Oblivion IV (I was totally lost in the story, thought it was overwhelming and boring at the same time), Assassin's Creed (very repetitive and dull-- it should off next gen potential but once people got used to the generation, it proved to be very boring).

That's all I can really think of right now.
