That's the thing when i'm in game I can hear things behind me and like it is 5.1 but the reciever says cpcm 48.
Gamefreak1296's forum posts
So here is my set up I have my Xbox 360 with hdmi out to my Reciever and an hdmi out from my reciever to my tv.
When I turn on my xbox and reciver my receiver says (5.1) but as soon as I turn on my TV it changed to cpcm 48...Any advice?
So I double read everyone's posts (thanks) but i'm still trying to get this straight. I know if it has a mono RCA connector if it's a powered sub woofer?
Also looking at this sub

seems pretty cheap on ebay $50 or so.
Well you said you hated your yamaha sub but what about speakers? I was checking out this 5.1 systemhttp://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-NS-SP1800BL-a5-1-Channel-Theater-Speaker/dp/tech-data/B001AVRD62/ref=de_a_smtd
So I just bought this receiver
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-STRDH520-Channel-Receiver-Black/dp/B004NHCGJO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
Sad thing is my old subwoofer has the positive and negative audio cables and the receiver only has mono RCA. I've been looking for cheap subwoofers online and it's hard to see which are like the one I own and which have mono RCA connectors. How do you tell?
I was also considering just getting a whole new speaker system like this
http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-NS-SP1800BL-5-1-Channel-Theater-Speaker/dp/tech-data/B001AVRD62/ref=de_a_smtd
since I bet the speakers that came with my $130 surround sound system from 2007 probably aren't that great.
Is 4G out then? It's capable of speeds going up to 1 Gbps apparently.Hexagon_777
That's the theoredical max speed of 4g but currentally it's around 10-17 megabits
1024 megabits make a gigabit.
