@vunacar Two things... how did you get Shadow of the Colossus on pc,
And how did the ending negitely impact your enjoyment of the game? It kind of did for me too thats why I asked.
Shadow of the Colossus I also feel is one those games that is not necessarily ment tobe quote "all about fun" but be moving. SotC is my favorite game, but it is epic hearing peoples interpretation of the game
@IanNottinghamX False. There is Vanquish and that game was incredible, and it was really nothing like Gears of War. Or you could make the claim that all third person shooting games copied Resident Evil 4, which the Gears of War creators borrowed heavily from.
Ran too high for current PCs and consoles?!?! That is a terrible lie. I have seen and played beautiful looking games on PC and consoles... Developers were just lazy
To be honest, I really do agree with David Cage. Not that I don't like the odd shooter, but I would love to see more Bastions and heavy Rains. It has been almost 8 years since I played my personaly favorite game ever "Shadow of the Colossus" and still have yet to play a game that was as emotionally moving as SOTC.
The problem that I believe arises is that the games industry is an industry and they are in it mainly t make money. Look at the polocy that EA I trying to make will all games having a tacked on muliplayer component. That could kill the single player expereinces that video games can offer. We will have companies like Bioware and Cryteck focussing now on delievering both a single pplayer and multiplayer gaame in the same time frame as it would to just create a single player experience. I can not even imagine trying to pplay a game like Dragon age origins with a tacked on multiplayer, and how Bioware is going to make with Dragon Age 3 is beyound me
