Because Final Fantasy 13 is multiplatform. Cows aren't necessarily FF fans, they're two seperate things that sometime intersect. Cows use to claim to be FF fans just because it was exclusive. Now that it's multiplat, it's almost seen as mor eof a 360 game (see Prototype), so therefore cows bash it. Cows will also be much more critical of MGS: Rising when that comes out.
So I made a program for my stats class, altered it for this cause- according to gamerankings, the standard deviation between X360 games and Ps3 games on gamerankings is 1.3 points in favor of the ps3. This is only is cases where the versions are the same, I hand excluded things like bayonetta, etc.
So yea, this invalidates all of your taking gamerankings seriously stuff.
except that 1.3 points out of 100 isn't that big of a deal :|
Well it was to challenge the idea of the 360 not having a AAA above 94, when the ps3's highest on the site is only a point or so higher. So tell that to them. My point is that using gamerankings score in a manner to compare such close numbers on different platforms is absurd.

Why? Because they like a game that has in game cutscenes, and they don't play games enough to realize it depends on the individual game. Cutscenes are good imo, but it really depends on the individual game.
Oh and some people have diferent views on "hardcore" Some say hardcore is how much you know about a game, how good you are at it,etc. Others say how much you play regardless of the same 1 game 10 years or 1000 games in 10 years. etcawdxfv
I say it's playing games and being indulged in them. To say that those guys who get crazy at Halo aren't teh hardcore is crazy.
because i feel like the majority of you guys have more or less the same amount of games as casuals but don't even play as much as them according to yourselves. What's up? 15 games? That's it?
Where are the people like me who have over 100 full retail games from this generation alone and complete most all of them? (hopefully you're smart and get them at a low price like me!)

lol, agreed. I'm not in the minority of those who actually believe Fable 2 was what "Fable 1 should have been". We still don't have the fabled (no pun intended) "scars that stay on trees until you die of old age!!!" feature, and the child option addition feels tacked on. I feel with Fable 3, they may be able to improve on this aspect though. Am I the only one who realizes that those are very good games? Or then again... people here aren't gamers. They mostly would rather talk about games then play them
