Sonic unleashed deserves AA and it got 3.5...other than that it...nothing really...all games got +/- 3 points than i predicted.awdxfvOh yea, I agree. That was awful. It's like they didn't care what game it was- they just saw sonic and resumed prejudices.

Got my mag today. Has some Spec Ops info in it also, but it's just a half page thing and doesn't have anything you wouldn't know already, but I'll post that if you want.
Anyway, for halo: Reach
- Campaign is squad based, but not tactical. You're the "lone wolf" and get to create your character by default. In multiplayer however, you take upon one of 5 spartans. Each plays differently.
- Elites are back (duh)
- Prototype weaponry
- Reach is a military planet
- Kat- light class- robotic arm- pistol/ knife
- John- support- chain gun/spartan laser- medic
- Jace - scout- sniper rifle/pistol- special visr
- Frank - pilot- assault rifle/battle rifle - gadgetry
- Kolt- heavy class - grenade launcher- machete- rage
- takes place from 3 days before halo 1 until about a tad into it
- Darker, more gritter halo
- Multiplayer is classed based, but still able to pick up weapons
- Perk abilities, examples given camo and sprint
- Halo 1 health system returning
- Open world structure, think a large scale version of ODST but without flashbacks and more ruckus going on
-lots of yummy screens. Beautiful game.
So yea, that's the gist of it.
The game looks more linear so I'd say that yes, consoles are holding the PC version back.Zero5000Xlol, hermits give no window for the developer who made such "awesome" games such as Crysis and FarCry now, do they? Because they dev for consoles now they suck! It reminds me of Alan Wake. Damn, Crysis needed more linear sections people. The pacing in the game was horrible.
[QUOTE="GamerX2311"] PC that runs new games - what, $900? not for the best parts, but a pretty good one. Console = $300 for a 360 with 2 games? I don't get it. If you mean prices of games, it's $10 difference new, but console games have more special offers when new, and eventually they all go so far down- pc games typically disappear before they reach $10 unless they're classics. MograineYour comparison is utterly void. You are taking as example a years old machine sold at a loss against a newly built rig with latest tech. Buying a lot of games that 10$ difference gets much, much wider, and you are not counting Steam deals where the difference is even wider. But the 360 still will play something like Metro 2033 and it'll look 99% like the pc version, save the resolution (which isn't that big of a deal anyway- no dev creates textures that large anyway). A $400 pc won't make that game look as good as the 360 version. Of course this is fact, but we like to pretend, ay?
Anyway, I quit pc gaming after I couldn't play BFME2 with my brother due to problems. I just wanted something simple, but I had to work mountains around it.

Do pc gamers not honestly realize that you can buy console games for extremely cheap? I got Mirror's Edge, Crackdown, GRAW, Tales of Vesperia, and so much more for $10. Then again, there still are people complaining about ODST's price, completely having neglected all the good deals that were available at launch. People around here really don't understand the concept of shopping around. I have 100+ games. I've probably spent less than people with half that amount here.
I can't believe how much these digital download places are monopolizing the minds of pc gamers. These aren't good deals people, they're just in front of your eyes.
[QUOTE="GamerX2311"][QUOTE="racing1750"]Console gaming without a doubt. PC gaming is ok, but i dislike the exclusives, much prefer console games like GT, Forza, god of war, Halo etc.Skittles_McGeeYou don't like Generic-Looks-Like-Every-RTS-OUT-THere #2102? How about it's AAA expansion, expansion to generic rts #6729? Ah, I get it now. You've never actually gamed on PC. :| Lol, I do. I have a couple of games, but the majority are rts, and that's undeniable. PC gaming would be mainly for multiplatform titles for me. RTS make up a majority of pc games, easily.
PC. Much more economically viable and overall satisfying, especially when you learn to take the hardware/software problems with the "double the trouble, twice the fun" attitude.

Erm, you realize PC games "disappear" at a far slower rate than console games ever do, right? Not to mention $10 difference adds up quick, but there are plenty of PC games that go far lower than $50. $900 would you buy you an excellent PC, but more than you'd need. ...where do you get your reasoning from? In the long run, you technically do spend less buying a PC. See, I buy zero games for $60. There's always specials on new consoles games. Anyway, where are the $10 pc games that aren't big names? Where can a find a this generation game for $5?
