I'm using the stock Intel fan that came with my i5-2500K. I don't have it overclocked. I just took off the side of my case, and opened up Guild Wars 2, as well as Hardware Monitor. Right now the CPU is sitting at a maximum of 63C, and TMPIN1 rose to 79C. So which part should I look at to see what the problem is? My CPU cooler, should I blow some canned air into there or something to dislodge the dust?

Yeah today after leaving the computer for 2 days, I played again, and this time the temps went up to around 108C. I think I may have to open up my computer again. :(

I just noticed after opening up Hardware Monitor earlier today that one of the parts in my PC was getting really hot. My motherboard is a MSI P67A-G43, and it is the motherboard TMPIN1 that is getting hot when I'm playing games. Right now on idle it is about 54C, but when I'm playing a game like Guild Wars 2, it gets to 98C. For reference, the TMPIN0 and TMPIN2 only get to around 55-60C if even that during load, so why it this TMPIN 1 getting so hot? Also, my CPU and GPU only get around to 70C when I'm playing, and they are idle at around 50C. So what is wrong with just that particular part of the system?

[QUOTE="Gamerperson33"]I just installed Windows 8 last night, and today I was trying to install Steam from their website. However, it kept me giving me a .deb file. I thought that was only meant for Linux? How do I open Steam on Windows 8? Sorry for the noobish question.Treflis
Windows 8 isn't officially supported by Steam. So you're likely experiencing compatibility issues.

I clicked download again and it gave me the right one this time. Thank god haha. Thanks though, problem solved I think. :P

I've been using it for a while now, and I don't notice anything wrong. The thing is I really like the look of Windows 8 (silly I know), but can't really purchase it right now, so I'll stick to Windows 7. :P Either way, I've also run a quick scan with Microsoft Security Essentials and it didn't pick up anything, not even from the downloaded files.

After reading a suggestion from here a couple of months back about getting the look of the Windows 8 theme for 7, I just wanted to make sure if it's generally considered "safe" to do that. For reference, this is where I got my Windows 8 theme from: http://mare-m.deviantart.com/art/Windows-8-RTM-Theme-for-Windows-7-318932206 It had me download another program (Universal Theme Launcher) or something of the sort and then had me patch 3 files. It's worked well for the most part, nothing wrong with it. Just wanted to check in with you guys what you thought if it was safe or not, or if there are better ones.

Hey guys, I just wanted to ask a quick question. When I'm not gaming, my Physical Memory Usage is about 14%, is this normal? I usually have a couple of applications open though, such as Razer Synapse, and Teamspeak 3. Just wanted to check in with you guys.

Just a quick question here. I've also thought of using Rocketdock / Rainmeter, which is what I'm assuming you guys are using. The only thing that has stopped me from doing it (other than being totally clueless to making it look similar to your guy's stuff), is I'm assuming that it takes up resources on your computer to do this? Like all the extra applications that are running that show your CPU performance, etc. I do apologize if I'm wrong, but I always thought that it just takes up needed resources. :P

Hey guys another quick question. How do I disable Sleep mode? I'm running a desktop with an MSI motherboard, and a SSD if that helps. It's mainly because I like to download throughout the night. Thanks!
