Sorry if this seems like another noob question, but does using Aero take up more resources than say using Windows Basic? I don't mind using Basic though. I have Windows 7 64-bit, with 8 GB of ram. Only reason I ask is that sometimes when I alt-tab out of BF3 or quit the game, it automatically puts it to Basic which sucks and DICE still haven't fixed that yet. So yeah, thanks! :)
Ah okay, yeah cause me and my friend already imported our characters into Immortal Throne and we're about 3 hours into the game. Also, do you guys know of any essential mods or any mods that make the game an lot better? I'm having already having fun, but any mod that can make the game better is always cool.
Okay so an friend and I are just playing Titan Quest. We played the first one, and then after about 3 hours, we went into Immortal Throne because we heard it's the same thing, but with enhanced features. So what is the real difference between the two other than other new content? Because when I clicked on "Unlock Content" it said I had to input an code in. Also, does anyone recommend any good mods? I want the map packs but I don't like how they have bundled them or the price point. Making me buy the Karkand map pack a second time is not cool. If you can't give me a discount on Premium then give me a credit to use towards another purchase on Origin. I will buy them if and when they get discounted, I'd be willing to pay $30 maybe $40.
But right now, I'm thinking I will just jump ship from BF3 and start playing more Tribes and CS:GO

If the price is that much of an issue you can load some money onto a prepaid gift card(Mastercard or Visa gift card) and use a web proxy for an Indian IP to buy premium for $27. Hey guys, I know this probably isn't the right place to post it, but you guys are pretty cool, so I'll just ask it here. :P For E3, Gamespot is doing an live stream of the press conferences right? Do Gamespot also have specific times they go to specific games / booths? Like for example, IGN has an schedule that shows what time each game they are going to showcase (not the press conferences). Is it universal, or does only IGN have that specific time? Sorry, and thanks for helping me out again! :)
Okay I just got both games (Sword of the Stars, and Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter). I know the latter was broken when it launched, but I've been seeing an ton of patches every day, so I'm assuming it's kinda up to where it should be? Anyways, do I have to play the first one to get to the 2nd one? Or is recommended I play the first one anyways, since I have it? Thanks! :)
As much as I want Origin to be good, it's not going to happen for an while. Every time Origin comes up with an update, it messes up Battlefield 3. Now before all of you say I don't want competition or something, or that I'm an Steam fanboy, but if I had the option to use Steam instead of Origin, I would pick Steam without an doubt. Origin is trying so hard to be like Steam, but it doesn't want to put in any effort to do that, or at least the effort it should be.
