Gears of War 2 is more critically acclaimed than Metal Gear Solid 4. Face it. I'm not telling you that it's a better game, because I think MGS4 is. Oh, and GTA IV trumps MGS4, in my opinion. Definitely.

Bottom line is, GS gave MGS4 the GOTY and don't try to take that away from cows, and if you haven't noticed from my sig, I own a 360 and actually think it's better for gaming than the PS3, so don't use bias as a weapon against me.
